Hi parents of 5J Welcome back to another term! I hope you all enjoyed the Eagles giving Collingwood a little lesson yesterday. Hopefully The Dockers can do the same to Geelong this afternoon. Affirmation of the Week: Please send some positive vibes to Wilko. He's had a tough 4 days at the vets battling a severe case of pancreatitis. Positive signs today but not out of the woodwork. IMPORTANT REMINDERS 1.      Cross Country – Congratulations to all of the students that will be representing OLC at the Interschool Cross Country this Thursday. Not bragging, but I’m pretty sure most of the runners from Year 5 are from 5J… 2.     Home Learning Grid – The first grid for the term has been sent via One Note. Please take the time to make sure that your child has successfully completed each of the tasks before signing on a Friday morning. NUMERACY We will be investigating patterns and algebra this week, in particular, recursive and function number patter

Good morning Parents, Just a quick final blog post for the term. I hope everyone has a fantastic break, wherever you may be. Camp We are well under way with the planning of camp. As you are aware, we will be leaving for camp on Monday 20th of July at 9am and returning Wednesday 22nd of July between 3.15-3.30pm. There will be an email sent out in the second week of the holidays with a revised list of requirements, as there will be  NO  water activities in the scheduled events. We also ask that students  bring a plain white t-shirt (labelled with their name)  to use for a screen printing activity. Thank you for returning your permission slips and medical forms so promptly, if you have any further queries or questions about camp please don't hesitate to email me. We are looking forward to having some fun!
