Week 9 Home Learning

Image
Hi everybody, Below is the schedule for this week's home learning. You can find the document in One Note - Content Library - Home Learning. Cheers!

Home Learning

Hi parents, Just a couple of points to pass on. If you have decided to keep your child at home, could you please fill out an extended absentee form online (this will help Fran in the office a great deal - she would be super appreciative). If you feel that they won't be coming back until next term, date it until the 9th of April or so and if they do come back before then, we can always change it. Thanking you in advance. I have also placed a couple of screen casts on One Note - Content Library - Numeracy to help everyone with this weeks maths. Enjoy! I have also placed some information regarding comprehension strategies and some questions you can ask your child before, during and after reading. You can find this in TEAMS - English Channel - Files - Reading. Please download this to your own computer. You will find 3 dots in the top right hand part of teams. Stay safe and healthy everybody, Ciao Mr Jones

Hi Parents and students, Below you will find the weekly home learning grid as well as a link to a screen cast that I have made to explain and show you how to access all of the online learning materials through either One Note or Teams. Please follow this link to the screen cast: (It does go for 20 minutes so get yourself your favourite brew before nestling into the couch) https://www.loom.com/share/5472c26263aa443087ecfcd9371cee85 Until next time, choose kind! Please ensure that your child has everything that they need to participate fully in each swimming lesson. This includes bathers, rash vest, towel, flip flops (to and from the lesson) and possibly a separate bag for wet bathers etc. All STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO WEAR THEIR SPORTS UNIFORM FOR THE WHOLE WEEK. Speeches Speeches will begin this Friday with the first group of students presenting something that is special or precious to them. Hopefully this is not the first time that you are hearing about this as it has been an area on the Home Learning Grid since Week 3. On Friday of Week 5 I presented ‘my special thing’ (a chilli plant) to give
