Hi Parents, Just letting you know about the information sessions that will be in the hall on Thursday this week.

Hello parents! I am excited to announce that the Year Five classes will be diving head first into some pottery next week and creating some shallow bowls/plates like the ones pictured below. The theme for this art piece will be 'Inspired by Nature'. Your child will need to bring in the following items to help with the creative process. 1. Rolling pin or something similar (e.g - pvc pipe no longer than 30cm) 2. Approximately 10cm x 15cm shallow mould (e.g - shallow plastic take-away container) You will notice in the pictures that this could be an oval, rectangle or similar shape - this allows the clay to be placed upside down on the mould, ready to be fired in the kiln. 3. A range of materials from nature to create the patterns on the clay (e.g - leaves, shells, gum nuts etc)   Please bring these items to school on Tuesday next week in a small plastic bag. Hi everybody! Welcome to another week and another weather system moving across the South West land division. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.
