Term 2, Week 8

Hi Parents, I hope you had a great weekend and survived the wind and rain. Pig season 2022 is upon us, so I was busy making sausages in Waroona with my inlaws. Plenty of pork and plenty of wine and so great to not have to watch the Eagles play, happy days! QUOTE OF THE WEEK: IMPORTANT REMINDERS: 1. Bear Project Diorama Construction - Wednesday  2. Cross Country Carnival - Thursday STEM - BEAR PROJECT: This term, we have been learning about how plants and animals adapt to their environment. The students have been working in small groups to create a new species of bear (based on a current species of bear) that has to adapt to survive in the Australian desert. As part of this project, the groups will be creating a diorama for their bear as well as the bear itself. Each group has written a list of materials that will be required to be in class for Wednesday afternoon. The groups will then present their bears to the class in Week 9 highlighting both the structural adaptations and behavioura
