   Who says learning can't be fun?   You just need the right tools... engaging activities and thoughtful presentation to help children learn something new without feeling like they are being "taught." Harmony in week 8

        Dear Parents, Namaste kohomada (I bow to you, how are you) 21 March 2022 - Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians. Australia is a vibrant and multicultural country - from the oldest continuous culture of our first Australians to the cultures of our newest arrivals from around the world. Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony week, signifying social communication and meaningful conversation. The children can choose to wear something orange on Monday to show their support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia. (Please don't rush out and buy anything, something simple like an orange scrunchie, scarf, sweatband, t-shirt, socks... and only if your child wishes, it is not compulsory.) I will be proud to share my native Sri Lankan culture with the children. I will dress in traditional sari, and share Sri Lanka's history, food, language, religion, dance and song with our class.
