Term 4, Week 3

What a cracking weekend! I was certainly grateful to be able to head down to the beach and get some waves with not too many people around. I hope you managed to get and about and enjoy the weather.

MERIT AWARD WINNERS:

Congratulations to Sian Roberts (week 2) and Violet Mouritz (week 1) for being awarded a merit certificate. Great job girls!

PAT TESTING:

We will be completing our online PAT testing this week. These results are very valuable as they show us the growth the children have made over the year. Fingers crossed, we have at least one year's growth
for one year's input. All the information is giving to their Year Six teacher during handover at the end of the year. Please ensure that your child leaves home with their water bottle and is well hydrated for the day.

ENGLISH:

We will be beginning the planning / drafting of our leadership speeches this week. We have already had a little brainstorm on what information we should be gathering. This information can be found on One Note in the Content Library. All students will prepare a speech and present it in front of an audience.

NUMERACY:

We will be looking at perimeter and area this week.

Until next time,

Choose kind...

Mr Jones
