Welcome back to another week in paradise! I hope everyone managed to escape to their secret spot and enjoy the awesome run of weather we are having. I spent 3 days in the shapartment sealing the plywood walls and ceilings. It's definitely a job that I would highly recommend you all experiencing at least once in your life. QUOTE OF THE WEEK ANZAC DAY SERVICE To those of you that came on Friday afternoon would agree at how well the students created an atmosphere that would have rivaled any Anzac commemoration. Great job 5J! WHEELIE, WALKIE, WASTE FREE WEDNESDAY If possible, please send your child to school with a waste free lunch tomorrow and each Wednesday for the rest of the term. It's a great initiative that instills sustainable behaviours in all of us. Another great way to get behind this initiative, is to walk or ride to school. If you are too far from school, walking from the church may be a way for you to partake. INSIDE THE CLASSROOM We are continuing with our problem...
Hi Team 6J, IMPORTANT CHANGE TO CLASS PHOTOS MONDAY 2024: 6J will have their class photos postponed until Tuesday due to circumstances out of my control, wait for it....... Jury duty.... Unfortunately, the Jury Summons wasn't received and opened until Friday afternoon, so it is too late to apply for a deferral or to be excused from duty until Monday. The only option is to postpone the photos until Tuesday in the hope that I will be at school. What does this mean for TUESDAY? Students to wear their MONDAY UNIFORM to school on TUESDAY. To keep this uniform clean, students can wear their faction sports uniform to school on Monday unless you have family photos scheduled for Monday morning. I apologise if this causes any inconvenience. Students to bring their sports uniform (LEAVERS SHIRT) in a separate bag to change into. Thank you for your understanding everyone. Enjoy the rest of the week! Until next time, Mr Jones
Hi everybody! I hope you had a lovely and productive weekend and enjoyed the awesome weather that was on offer. I managed to burn down my bonfire (quite large) which has been sitting there for a while. The video below is actually from the public holiday but it has taken a couple of extra efforts to burn the remaining logs. This now allows me to start preparing for my veggie patch because the bonfire was sitting in prime position. Enjoy!
