Welcome to another week in paradise! I hope everyone had a great weekend (in isolation or not!). QUOTE OF THE WEEK: IMPORTANT REMINDERS THIS WEEK: 1. National Sorry Day - Thursday 2. Band and Friends busking (8am) - Friday, Entrance of school 3. Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer- Friday (bring some coins) 4. Free Dress for Leeuwin - Friday NAPLAN: Well done to all of the students for completing their tests over the past 2 weeks. If your child missed any of the NAPLAN assessments, some catch up sessions have been organised by Mr Torrese this week.  BIGGEST MORNING TEA: This Friday OLC will be hosting a morning tea for cancer. It will be held at 10:30am and students are asked to bring $1-$2 coins to purchase yummy treats. School Photos 2024

 Hi Team 6J, IMPORTANT CHANGE TO CLASS PHOTOS MONDAY 2024: 6J will have their class photos postponed until Tuesday due to circumstances out of my control, wait for it....... Jury duty.... Unfortunately, the Jury Summons wasn't received and opened until Friday afternoon, so it is too late to apply for a deferral or to be excused from duty until Monday. The only option is to postpone the photos until Tuesday in the hope that I will be at school.  What does this mean for TUESDAY? Students to wear their MONDAY UNIFORM to school on TUESDAY. To keep this uniform clean, students can wear their faction sports uniform to school on Monday unless you have family photos scheduled for Monday morning. I apologise if this causes any inconvenience. Students to bring their sports uniform (LEAVERS SHIRT) in a separate bag to change into. Thank you for your understanding everyone. Good morning OLC! I hope you had a fantastic weekend, enjoying the weather and getting out and about. We are 'officially' back! I just wanted to say a big congratulations to you all for surviving the last 8 weeks and thank you for all of your support.  Affirmation of the Week: IMPORTANT REMINDERS 1.      LAPTOPS – An increasing number of students are needing to charge their laptops during the day. Can you please remind your child that they are required to come to school with a fully-charged laptop for the day… 2.     Home Learning – The Home Learning Grid will begin next week, however, your child will have some tasks to complete before Friday to get them back into the swing of things. 3.     MERIT AWARDS - Merit Awards will begin this week and as we are not allowed to have school assemblies, Mr. Lee and Mr. Torrese will be coming around to each of the classes to present the merit awards.
