Term 2, Week 4

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mothers out there!

I hope you had a fantastic day and didn't have to raise a finger.
Breakfast in bed, outings already planned, dinner organised, no fighting or arguing, washing done, cups of tea etc...

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

INSIDE THE CLASSROOM

To support the Year Three classes, the students have been working on a Snakes and Ladders game (Penance Edition) that highlights using your conscience to make good choices and obviously sometimes not making the best of choices. Once they have finished, we will spend some time with the Year Three classes and play the games. A few very good examples are below.

SPEAK OUT

Just a reminder that the 'Speak Out' presentations begin on Friday with the first 5 students presenting. For more information, please refer to the English folder in the Content Library on One Note.

PROBLEM OF THE WEEK

Have a go at this week's problem with your child. Hopefully they can take you through the 4 step process that we have been using to solve our problems.

MERIT AWARD

Congratulations to Sonny Spittles and Emerson Hughes for receiving the merit award for Week's 2 and 3.

HOME LEARNERS OF THE WEEK

Tim got stuck into a jigsaw over the week.

Sam made a delicious looking pie and it looks like there is plenty left over for morning tea!

Until next time...
