Term 2, Week 9

I hope you all had a great weekend, although I'm
sure some of you would've spent it indoors. Hopefully, we have seen the last of the illness that has swept through the class and we are all fighting fit for the holidays in 2 weeks!

This is how I saw my busy weekend out, on the water with a couple of squid in the esky and this view. We really do live in God's country...

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

IMPORTANT DATES (more information can be found on the school website)

20th June: World Refugee Day

22nd June: Winter Solstice

30th June: Last day of the Term / Euey's farewell

DANCE CONCERT

What a fantastic effort by 5J at the dance concert last Friday. Best performance of the day!

Follow the link below for a recording of the dance.

JUNIOR MASTER CHEF

Just a quick update in regards to the 'Master Chef' presentations that the students are currently working on. Due to the illness that has swept through the class, we are going to hold off on our presentations, that were scheduled for this week, and see how we go next week. If your child is not ready to present by next week, they will be able to present next term.

SEESAW

Keep an eye out for some See Saw posts this week. You will be treated to your child reading their persuasive text to you, as well as the 'Snakes and Ladders' Penance Edition game that they have created. I'm sure you will be impressed!

Enjoy the rest of the week and have a safe break with the kids!

Until next term,

Mr Jones
